    Default High Performance RAM

    Hi

Online computer games are my obsession. In order to play them I need to have certain computer spec that will allow me the best performance. I know that I need RAM that will be of some kind of high performance, but I don’t know any details. High Performance RAM? I hope you have more info on this particular problem, so to say.

    Thanking you.

    ^^^

    Depends..

    Its a subjective questions...

High performance rams are needed only when you consider extreme computing where you want to Overclock your CPU / GPU processors to their extreme limit...

But as a normal gamer, all you need to make sure that you match the GB value stated by the game for example you may need 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM...

    Thanks.

I am also a gamer and I run 5GB of RAM running at 800Ghz. I have not come across a game yet that has needed more. CoD World at War for example runs very smooth with everything maxed out.

first of all check whether the high performance RAMs are supported by your motherboard or not, if yes then go for 2GB X 2 Ram sticks having frequency of 800Mhz or 1066Mhz according to your requirement. i recommend you to purchase Kingston...

High Performance RAM is good only if other Parts in your PC are *worth* the High Performance RAM, else they make no difference

As a gamer working with memory-hungry applications, consider upgrading your RAM to 4GB or potentially even more than that. Are you using a 32- or 64-bit system? We recently conducted a benchmark around RAM and performance lags (see Is More RAM the Only Way to Get More Speed? We?ll Find Out! TuneUp Blog about Windows). You are definitely going to need a 64-bit version, or all of the memory over 3.5 GB will be wasted.

    Right said.
IMO go for 4GB DDR3 RAM and install 64bit Windows.

Look what matters is not the ram, u needa see the video card if its good or not(i recomend 200x series), processor is another important spec. IF u want a very good gaming pc, buy a motherboard that requires ddr3 rams.
