Default Windows 7 and an HP 1012 Printer

Greetings! This comes from my PC. In the States, each one issues a small box like computer used for writing fishing licenses. The printer works fine with it. We push a button and it goes to the state computer under the monitor. I had the HP 1012 working on this PC for months before it recently quit and I found out because of it's age, it is no longer supported by HP. I am not a noob at computers, neither am I an IT grad either. There are two drivers listed. I download them, unzip them and can't install printer because this model is not listed. If there is some help from someone, I would be very grateful!

You can try the Vista drivers and see if that will work for you.

I'm trying to post a link, but the site says I'm not allowed to post url's....

Hey bassfisher. Good to see you here. I can't post links either - it might mean we need a few more posts under our belts to include links.

If I may be presumptuous, I "think" this might be the link you were trying to post:

@ wally - if you copy the above line, then remove the space after http:, this should get you to the downloads page.
