Exclamation Portable Windows Live Messenger 2009 - 02-01-2010, 05:33 PM

This is a portable version of Windows Live Messenger which can be run from a USB Key or Memory Stick.

No installation required. No administrator privileges required. Just launch from the single EXE file and your set to go.

Portable Windows Live Messenger

I have not tried it however.

I have tried it following your post and after an initial hiccup it is working well. On first running it kicked me after connecting but on reconnecting everything went well.

Maybe I missed it on the normal Messenger, but this one allows you to keep your desktop version running and have the portable version also logged on in a completely different location. Every other time I've tried this my first connection has been disconnected.

Nice one!!
