Windows Live Mail 2011 Error: Failed to initialize canvas
After updating my Windows Live Essentials to the latest Build 15.4.3538.0513 I found that I was unable to reply to any mail, or send new mail. I received the following Failed to initialize canvas errors.
Failed to initialize Shared Canvas
WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].
Set the registry value
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fusion!Enabl eLog to 1.
Tried to add :
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
Well, I did a system restore and am using the earlier Build 15.4.3508.1109.
Anyone have have any idea about this?

Yes, try the reinstall. I always prefer the offline installer . Get it frm http://g.live.com/1rewlive4-all/en/wlsetup-all.exe
Also, I hope your dotnet framework is uptodate. But before this try the offline reinstall

Which AV program you are using? Just disable once and try --
If it doesn't work... then it might be issue of System Volume Information attributes.
First of all Show hidden files and folders and uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) in Folder Options.
Now System Volume Information folder is visible, so go to its Properties and check Read-only attribute if it is checked.
Click OK to commit changes and try once...
