Handy tool. Thanks 212 eta.
Thank but no thanks,
I used that F-secure cleaner and it leaves a lot of registry entries.
And it is not really effective
As a result I couldn't install Eset NOD32 (I had to manually edit registry entris left by this so called cleaner)
so use at your own risk
By the way: welcome aboard 212eta

@leofelix for headup.
I usually test new products on my testing machine. I may give a shot for this one.
The same thing with other cleaners. CCleaner messes Windows 7 Registry too.
See yourself....

The current version of CCleaner is v2.23.993 but I just tested it on Windows 7 with the same results. I also don't recall all registry items being pre-checked in the past with CCleaner.You will find that registry cleaners are not recommended by security experts on the well-known security forums. We have seen registry cleaners do much more damage than good.
Even when people insist on using CCleaner, I recommend a full registry backup, in addition to the CCleaner backup. (OT: It doesn't appear that ERUNT has been updated to include Windows 7 yet.)
