Looks interesting. Thanks - will check it out!
The Get System Info utility (from Kaspersky)is used to collect system information in order to troubleshoot technical issues. It is used in a variety of ways:
* Detection of incompatible software
* Detection of possible malware on the system (both known and unknown)
* Program function errors (installation, use, uninstall etc.)
The utility works in conjunction with the online parser, which takes all of the information in the log file created and parses this into easily readable tab form online. This functionality means that users with limited computer experience can trouble shoot an issue on their own.

thank you tweakwindows
That's really an excellent diagnostic tool, you can use it even if you do not use Kaspersky products.
It helps to find out if you system is infected, it will enumerate drivers installed and tell you what can cause problems..
I have used it some months ago.
I just wonder if this tool has been updated for Windows 7 (32 bit - 64 bit) since there are two versions: one is for legacy systems.
I'll check out, thank you

Nice tool ( esp if you're troubleshooting KAV/KIS issues ) & been using it since last year.

Eset Security Suite also includes a great utility like that. Eset Sys Inspector is a very powerful tool which also helps in securing the PCs.
The utility features:
- Ability to generate and save a detailed log to be used by an IT expert or uploaded to an online forum for diagnosis
- Option to exclude private, personal information from being saved in logs
- Integrated Anti-Stealth technology allows discovering hidden objects (e.g. rootkits) in MBR, registry entries, drivers, services and processes
- Ability to compare two existing logs for differences makes it easy to detect changes over time
- Log entries are assigned a color code risk level for easy filtering
- Intuitive hierarchical navigation of logs
- Fast and compact single file executable, ideal for first responders to run from a USB drive without lengthy installation
Check the Screenshots.

Thanks nitinagarwal1988.
I noticed Eset Sys Inspector being freeware.
A single file executable for diagnostic purposes that can even be run from a USB drive.
Very nice contribution.![]()
