Default File transfer option to set with MSE - 02-08-2010, 12:27 AM

I'm considering to install MSE on my pc, but reading this topic about the command line scan option to fill in WLM, I've some aspects to clarify:

running security essentials from the command line to scan a single file

I quote just the interesting part:

Quote:
Under Tools --> Options --> File Transfers, I leave the download location as default (irrelevant, in most cases, where you actually download to, as long as it is not a directory that you have ignored in MSE) and then check the box stating scan for viruses using: and in the location textbox I enter "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials\msseces.exe"

Unfortunately, it opens the MSE inerface on evey file transfer, but I do not perform a lot of file transfers via WLM anyway, so this is not a major problem for me.
Can you check for me if this command below does the trick?

Code:
"c:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials\msseces.exe" -hide
Or, can you enter a dummy command line (e.g. "echo")?

Just curiousity.

Thank you.

Hope that some guy can do some test about a possible workaround for MSE.
