Apple leaves Safari for Windows users in the lurch with 121 unpatched vulnerabilities
We had posted a week back that Apple had decided to kill support for Safari 6 on Windows.
But what is disturbing that the present users of Safari browsers on Windows, have been left in the lurch with a whopping 121 unpatched vulnerabilities.
There is no warning for such users of Safari 5.x that no further updates would be released for it - nor that it would be updated to Safari 6. They continue to see the 'Your software is update' message in their browser. This, of course, leaves Safari users on the Windows platform more vulnerable to attack.
