    Default Security problems with Opera 15 | 16

    Hi !

    Security problems with Opera 15 (Opera_15.0.1147.148)

    I installed Opera 15.
    When i checked the settings i noticed that it had changed the settings for javascript.
    My settings is not allowing javascript, except for a few trusted websites.
    But that was changed to allow javascript!
    Thatīs a serious security problem !
    If you donīt check the settings Opera 15 will run javascript on all websites.....

    And btw. i uninstalled Opera 15 because it looks horrible, they have changed the menu system making it impossible to find anything, so itīs not interesting anyway.....
    Also, itīs installed in a subfolder in the current opera folder which is really weird....

    Do you think Opera changed the setting back or did some other program mess with it?

    I guess itīs because it was installed in a subfolder of the current operafolder.
    My "normal" Opera-version (12.15) was not uninstalled, no changes were made.
    I even started 12.15 normally by clicking on the taskbar icon, before i uninstalled 15.
    I then uninstalled Opera 15, and 12.15 still works as previously.
    Upgrading Opera by downloading and running a new installation normally means just a newer version.
    No changes are made to any settings.

    The changes to the javascript-settings can be dangerous if the user thinks javasript is blocked on a particular webbsite while it really isnīt blocked !
    That is very stupid by opera !

    I always doublecheck settings after upgrading.
    But not every user is like me...

    Oh ... maybe that is something Opera needs to look into!

    I just installed Opera 16.0.1196.62
    The securityproblems are still there !?
