Microsoft recommends uninstalling one of the securityupdates from August !

kb2982791 has caused BSODīs for a lot of people, most of them using 64-bit versions of the O/S.
Microsoft now recommends uninstalling kb2982791, and waiting for a new updated version.
They have also removed the downloadlinks to that update.

    W7 / WS2008-R2: Control panel → Windows Updates → Installed Updates
Sort the list by date and you should see 2982791 among the "top 10".

    Yes I read about this.

I wonder how many - percentage wise - were actually affected by this issue!

Didn't get the Win 8.1 side of my dual boot laptop, all seems fine. Since I have a full, current, system image I'll leave it as it is.
