Folder Marker is small free add-on for Windows which lets you change the color of any folder instantly.

You can assign different color to different folders and you can even use a new icon for your folders.

Major Features:

Folder Marker can give a new look to folders depending on their priority.
Folder Marker can change a folder's color.
Folder Marker can assign your own folder icon to a folder from ICO, ICL, EXE, DLL, CPL or BMP file.
Folder Marker can assign different color to different folders.

Though the free version of Folder Marker doesn't give more options, you can always use 30-day trial version of this utility to view more features.

I use iColorFolder. Pretty light and the color selected in XP sticks even in Vista.

Ive used iColorFolder in XP. So it works in Vista too...good!
And let me check out freeware version of Folder Marker too.

Yeah, surprisingly the folders I colored in XP have those colors in Vista too.

Didn't know that iColor Folder is for Windows. I thought it's for Mac

Tried both. I thing I prefer iColorFolders.
