Default Bringing up the Task Manager to Stop a Program.

If a program crashes and is holding up everything else running in Windows, the Task Manager can help by forcing the program to stop.

The normal advice of how to start Task Manager is to press the Control, Alt and Delete keys and then select Task Manager.

This can be a problem if Windows has become unstable, and so there is a direct keyboard shortcut.

Hold down the Control, Shift and Escape keys and the Task Manager will appear.

    A useful tip.

There's a little more that you can do with it. You can use task manager as a desktop widget too.

You can also try out this nifty app called One Click App killer. You can terminate your frozen programs with one click. For example you double-click on it's icon, which is sits in the quick launch bar, your cursor gets transformed into a target. Then the next program you click on, is terminated instantly.

Quite old but handy Shortcut since Windows Vista.

CTRL + ALT + DEL no longer works to get Task Manager in Windows Vista and later.

    Thanks for sharing man...

Just right click on an open space on your Taskbar and choose Task Manager.
