Two tips in one:-)
Very good thank you
If you use frequently the Run command, then you have need to delete individual entries instead to delete it all using a common cleaner tool.
Run Command History is stored in the following Windows registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\ RunMRU\
Here there is the list of commands used by you... of course you can remove single entries through regedit, but I don't suggest this operation for unexperienced Windows users, to prevent possible damages to the Windows registry.
From bad to worse, it's quite annoying entering each time in regedit.
I found this interesting vbs script that allows you to choice exactly, through a simple interface, single entries to delete.
Download EditRunMRUList.vbs
Unfortunately this doesn't work on Windows Vista/7 with UAC enabled.
However there is a small workaround:
1) Download Script Elevation PowerToys for Windows Vista
2) Install ElevateWSHScript.inf (right-click on an INF file, select Install, and approve the elevation).
Finally you can run as administrator this useful .vbs script, originally XP-compatible.

thanks for the nice tip!!
Very useful....who use Run to execute commands, I simply use search pane in start menu to do that!!![]()
If someone is registered on Piriform Community Forums, I suggest to post this tip as possible feature in CCleaner.
For example, such as Options > Cookies Interface.

Nice script, used to do that manually via RegEdit. Thanks!
