    Default Error 0x80004005 when upgrading to Windows 10

    If you receive Error 0x80004005 when upgrading to Windows 10, install these KB3087040 packages: x86 | x64.

    Restart your computer and then try again, suggests Microsoft tech troubleshooter extraordinaire Gov Maharaj on Channel9.

    Take a look at Windows 10 Installation or Upgrade Errors and Troubleshoot Windows 10 Setup and Installation Errors for additional suggestions.

    I will suggest you to clean the registry. Follow below importan

    • Clean the registry to remove the bad and invalid registry keys from the outlook. Follow the manual steps to clean the registry:

    • Open search box. Type regedit and click “OK”.

    • Then, open “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE” -> “Microsoft folder” -> “Current version folder”.

    • Now, open “Run” folder and click on “Outlook 2013 error 0x800ccc13 file”.

    Here you can find
    "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" -> "SOFTWARE" -> "Microsoft" -> "Windows -> "Current Version" -> "Run".

    I can say i've spent like 15 hours for installing windows 10. I read all the forums. Still can't solve it.
    There is no such thing as "Outlook 2013 error 0x800ccc13 file"

    Hi!
    I got the same error few days ago. It took me so long to detect the error. Finally I decided to use Event Log Explorer and carefully analysed the System Log, I found that my printer drivers were in conflict. Uninstalled those and then it was normal. Check this. eventlogxp.com/blog/troubleshooting-philosophy-windows-event-log-error-analysis/"] It might solve ur problem
