DO NOT RUN INNOCULATION. You will end up with site access issues.

Also do not install Spybot Tea Timer. It will really slow down the startup.

Wow, thanks a TON, guys. I'll ask Austin to come over and take a look at all these fantastic responses, and then do what he should.

I'm also extremely grateful to you for pointing out how unnecessary a registry cleaner is - I was given to understand that would solve the trouble!

I bet he's also got Limewire installed. Every computer I've ever seen it
installed on is slow and it's on just about every computer that a 12-25
year old has access to.

I also accidentally installed a registry cleaner from a Cnet banner ad
once, from clicking too fast, and then a cancel button that seemed to
install it. Removing it was worst than removing a virus. They are like
the plague stay far far away.
