    Default WMI Help

On the back of the excellent new WAP tool I dont think my WMI is working correctly,I dont know if its because Im using vista ultimate on a HP laptop and am no longer using any of the HP crapware, but it doesnt seem to be working..

Does anyone have some basic tests etc I can run to see if it is functioning how it should...
Also in the security snap on Im getting a 4672 code special log on that is to do with 2008 server but I havent got a server which is worrying almost like a remote log on..its been unsuccsesful so far but dont like the fact its trying..

    As always any help appreciated..

I dont think WAP could be interfering with WMI; its a portable app with no services running.

Try and see if restarting WMI helps.
See here how to & Repairing and re-registering the WMI
