    Default Unable to download updates

I want to download updates from Toshiba and Adobe. I am being prevented by messages such as "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation".

As the administrator I am not aware of any changes I have made to create this problem.

I would welcome any suggestions to overcome the problem.
I have tried altering the permissions in the UAC without success.

Maybe you have logged in through your standard account. Try logging in through the Admin account.

If the problem due to Account. You need to login into Admin account.
You can enable built-in Administrator account by executing following command under elevated command prompt.

Or your PC might be infected by virus/malware etc.. Scan your PC with good AV program.
and follow these step to get rid of the Windows Installer restriction.

    Run gpedit.msc
And follow Local Group Policy >> Computer Configuration >> Adminitrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Windows Installer

and Select Disable Windows Installer and change it to Disabled
