My Favorites - Dell keyboard keys
I have a new Dell 430 running Vista Home Ultra, across the top of the key board are 5 keys marked my favorites, I am wondering how to use these. Thank you in advance.

There should be a Dell-installed software program that lets you edit what each of those keys does. Look in Start>Programs and perhaps under 'Dell' or something similar. Or go to Control Panel and look under Hardware or Devices & Printers.

Isn't there an instruction booklet? Or am being too old fashioned remembering when these were sent with things

A quick-start guide is about all one gets these days.
@BooBoo: On my Dell, which is a few years old, there is a program called 'Quick Set' that enables customization of certain hardware features. See if your Dell has that program, or something similar.

As said @James, you need "Quick Set" provided by DELL. Visit Welcome to Dell Support
and click on Driver Downloads and enter the SERVICE TAG, that can be found below the cover.
Such dell shortcuts, use the comobination of [Fn] Key
