Post How to deal with Window Dump Error? - 02-07-2010, 08:53 AM

Hello Guys, I use Win Vista, couple of days ago i had faced thrice windows dump error, can anyone tell me why it happens, I was working actually and suddenly blue screen appeared on the screen showing some critical dump error and system got restarted.. what can be the cause, do i need to have some additional patches to stop that error coming again.

Any help much appreciated..

You need to post the exact errors

You can use this tool to view all BSOD details whenever you want:

BlueScreenView - blue screen of death (STOP error) information.

How could I post the exact error.. It only shows that Windows encountered dump error and after that it gets restarted..

I presume its a Blue Screen/Stop Error that you are seeing.

Disable UAC. Control Panel > System And Maintenance > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Under Startup And Recovery > Click Settings > Clear the Automatically Restart check box > click OK. Enable UAC.
