The System Could Not Find The Environment Option That Was Entered. Help! Please!
Can somebody please help!
I'm not TOO BAD with computers but this is a bit much.
This error appears when I go to click into SOME .exe and other programs.
"The System Could Not Find The Environment Option That Was Entered."
Also things which require me to use Administrator simply DO NOT WORK.
Anybody any ideas on the issue, feel free to ask for any more details that will help in solving this! Thank you .

Some suggestions:
1. Try and see if a system restore to a prior good point helps.
2. Run System File Checker and see if it helps.
3. Boot into your Windows Vista installation DVD and try the Startup Repair option.
Hope something helps!

1. This doesn't work I am getting the message "The system could not find the environment option entered".
2. I can't run ANYTHING as Administrator as the message "The system could not find the environment option entered" appears.
3. I do not have the Installation disc.
Thank you for replying.

Can you reboot and log into another User Account ?
If so, can you try these things from that user account?

I don't have another Account and to make one you need Admin Privileges.
