Default Can't boot into Windows 7, not even safe mode.

I can't boot into Windows 7 today and I suspect a driver update yesterday for Intel Storage is the cause. I only gets an option to boot from Floppy - which isn't present on my HP Pavillion. Looks like Safe Mode not working Windows 7.

    Tried System restore, no luck.

Trying to boot into safe mode by hitting F8, no luck.

I can boot into System Restore by hitting F11, so that F8 doesn't work as suggested in what I've found out caused by using a USB keyboard shouldn't apply.

Can someone tell me how to boot into Safe mode on W7?

I will be very grateful so I have a chance to roll back that driver.

Type msconfig in start search and hit Enter to open System Configuration utility. Here under Boot tab > Boot options Check Safe boot an Minimal.

    Click Apply/OK. Restart.

Please see if you are able to boot in safe mode using this procedure.

Did you try System Restore? I'm just asking b'coz you were not able to boot in Windows even.
If it so try these steps:

    1. Boot with Windows 7 DVD or USB flash drive.
    2. When prompted, press any key, and then follow the instructions that appear.
    3. On the Install Windows page, click Repair your computer.
5 .Select the Windows installation you want to repair, and then click Next.
    6. On the System Recovery Options menu, click on System Restore and try to restore to some earlier checkpoint.

I get to HP dashboard by pressing F11 and from there I have the option for Microsoft Restore among some hardware tests,
Tried to restore those I could, but I still get to that "boot from floppy" again after re-boot. No way it will boot into Windows.

If I can't get into Safe mode all I have to do is a new install and loose all of my programs and settings..........
