Default IE 9 clipboard and external websites access

    Hi,

I note that IE 9 can allow external websites to read the clipboard.

Why would a user want an external website to read their clipboard?

    Thanks

    A

Maybe when you copy-paste something to paste in the comments box or a form ...

But you can disable this access via Internet Options > Security > Custom Level.

Check out Prevent Theft Of Your Clipboard Data. | WinVistaClub. Its an old post but may still be relevant.
