    Hi !

    Can a Windows Vista 64-bit key be used on a Vista 32-bit O/S ?

    You can use the same Windows key for x86 or x64, provided they are retail versions. This may not hold true for OEM versions of the license.

    Well, i know it works on W7, but i was unsure about Vista.
    The reason for asking is a 64-bit OEM-key that is not accepted on a 32-bit version of Vista.
    But it might be because it´s OEM.
    I know the difference between OEM & retail, i have refreshed my knowledge today....
    Thanks anyway.
    And after some investigation i have also found some information saying it should work,
    but also info saying it doesn´t work on Vista if the key is from Vista SP1 and the software is RTM (no Service pack),
    so i wanted to doublecheck.
