Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.
When clicking on the Outlook.com People selection (at the top of the Outlook page) I get some kind of looping error where eventually it stops and I get:
"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."
Any ideas as to why?
I have reloaded Internet Explorer 9 and this computer is running Vista.
The People.Live.com site (that the People link goes to) does work when using Google Chrome so I know it is a Internet Explorer issue.

Hi, It could be a corrupted browser cookie or the Outlook.com service could be down - or there may be an issue with your account specifically.
A few things you could try:
Clear your browser cache
Check if any of the Microsoft online service is down or facing issues here.
See if you can log in using any other browser.
Please try to reset Internet Explorer and see if it helps:
Reset Internet Explorer settings to default in Windows 8 / 7
Hope this helps, Good luck
This is one of the most common problems with Hotmail/live mail/outlook.
Solution is actually fairly simple, and different from the "standard" suggestions.
While running IE on Windows 7, click TOOLS; INTERNET OPTIONS; SECURITY;TRUSTED SITES;SITES BUTTON
If any sites include references to Hotmail or Live Mail, delete those sites from the trusted list.
Retain any site which has a reference to OUTLOOK.
That's all there is to it.

I have the same problem, but only on one particular desktop.
The problem started before upgrade to Windows 10, and is still here with Windows 10 - even using the new Windows 10 browser as well as IE.
I have tried deleting cookies and clearing the cache.
It works fine on all other computers, just not this one!
