The WVC Offers and Giveaway sections is for such offers which are for WVC members exclusively; as such only Admins/Mods can post there. Other freeway may be posted on Downloads for Windows.

And speaking of a-squared .... why go elsewhere WVCF is there to offer free licenses too of its paid version. Let the Eset contest start, maybe in 2-3 days I'll announce about the a-squared giveaway

It depends on you, I think.

For example, 4 days ago I helped a friend of mine to remove Trojan/Vundo from her operating system, she uses Vista Home Premium, NOD32 3.0 not in advanced mode and of course Windows Defender: no third party personal firewall installed!

MalwareBytes' AntiMalware detected and removed the most of Vundo signs, but I had to suggest her to use ComboFix in order to remove completely it,

My friend occasionally scanned her OS for viruses and spyware, never updated adobe flash player, Java JRE and Adobe Reader and surfed the web with IE 7.0.

Not her O.S is fully updated, she uses MalwareBytes' AntiMalware and JavaCool SpywareBlaster too and surf the web with Firefox and 3 security add ons
