    Default FREE Partition Manager for Windows Vista

    guys,

    I use partition magic to resize my xp sp2 partitions before,which is very convenience.



    when i installed Vitsa sp1, pm cannot work anymore, you guys who can tell me a FREE patition manager for vista?

    any help?

    Why not just follow the advice given here about installing windows 7 on a separate partition, then you don't have to bother with anything else. This is why we have a search here, if you type in partition it highlight what you want

    can you tell me more clearly? i am puzzled what you said. is there a better way? or i am jsut missing something?

    If you type partition in help it will tell you how to do it very easily. I did it this way when I installed windows 7 because I was confused about things. The help guide is great and easy to follow if you're not techy minded. Or you could go to intowindows, by tweakwindows for his excellent guide on this. Hope this helps and I am sure AndyK will add something as well

    i googled and find a outstanding partition software named-EASEUS Partition Master!
    http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm,maybe it can use in windows 7

    I agree, I use EASEUS partition manager, which is far better than the one supplied with Vista.
