    Lightbulb Start Menu 7 for Windows 7

    Start Menu 7 is a freeware program which adds more to the Windows 7 start menu.

    Features:

    - The list of menu items is alphabetically sorted, so you can easily find any program or command by its name.

    - Open any location on your PC with a single click. You can create, modify, and reorder items in Start Menu 7. So it's easy to create a list of the most used locations, popular directories, and virtual folders to access them with a single click.

    - There is a special Run button to access seldom used locations without adding them into menu.

    - Start Menu 7 has a customizable Power Buttons panel.

    - With Power Timer feature you can delay any of power management operations.

    - Beautiful interface with Aero skin and 3 other optional skins

    This is probably the most useful desktop application ever made. I love it and only have 1 complaint and that's that the Pro version costs 19.99

    All I know he's the programmer behind
    "Classic StartMenu" and "Vista Startmenu", programs that got rebranded to "Start Menu 7 for Windows 7".

    Pretty neat program, even in the free version...

    1) There is a multilanguage support, but in some part seems untranslated.
    2) There is no Windows 7 based skin.

    A great comfort, but it lacks of look.

    For those that don't like the 7 start menu, it looks like a good option

    @Nirman

    Out of curiosity I did install "7 Start Menu" on my XP,selecting the Vista skin.
    (but I didn't set it as the default start menu)

    Looks kinda cool having a Vista start menu in Windows XP

    @roraniel

    I agree.The pro version of "Start Menu 7" is great,using the quick launch feature for even faster access of installed programs.

    Still the program could do with some more skins as suggested by Max_Payne...
