    Lightbulb MailMyFile - Feedback

    Do you find yourself mailing files to a particular email address very regularly? If so then freeware MailMyFile, developed by L.W, will make things a lot easier for you.

    The application will install to your Username\Documents\MailMyFile directory. It will add and entry to your right click context menu. To mail this file to your regular email address, simply right click it and select Mail My File!

    If you wish to give feedback, please do so in this thread.

    I saw someone comment that they would like the option to have it saved as draft and opened in the email program in case they want to change anything. You can do this through the application without having to open your email program.

    When you open your settings you have the option of not Automatically Sending the email. Just uncheck this option and when you click to email the file the application will appear for you to make any changes.

    If you need help with email Host's and Port's this may help you: Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server Settings.

    would I be able to send to multiple recipients ? or a mailing list ?

    will the file be sent auto when there are changes to it ?

    most mailservers require auth before sending any mail

    the application is not working at my end;

    using MS Outlook 2007 as email client

    Currently, the option for multiple recipients I did not add. I had thought about adding it but decided to stick with a single user sendto option for the current version.

    Use the Installer. Once the application is installed if you run the installer again install will be replaced with uninstall.

    In your username\documents folder delete MailMyFile folder and contents
    Open Regedit HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shell remove the 2 keys MailMyFile and MailMyFile Settings
    Application will be uninstalled.

    You get error if files have been moved or replaced. The application looks for the original files upon loading.
