Default PowerTools Lite 2011, freeware version released

Macecraft Software has launched PowerTools Lite 2011, a freeware version of their professional grade jv16 PowerTools 2011 utility package, to help all Windows PC users easily yet effectively to fix Windows registry errors and delete unneeded data.

Based on the jv16 PowerTools 2011 utility suite, PowerTools Lite enables even the least technically skilled of PC owners to benefit from a safe system and registry cleanup. PowerTools Lite also clears unnecessary data from the registry, MRU and history data from all major applications and Windows itself, along with deleting any unnecessary temporary files to
    clean up the entire PC.

I tried downloading it, but it downloaded some ad-supported Tucows/Butterscotch downloader - so I skipped downloading it!

If anyone finds an alternative hassle-free download link, do share!

    Try the download at cnet/download.com
It would appear to be free of any ad support, although you have to opt out from the Incredimail installer in it >> spits on Incredimail <<

Yes J.Hackett, I have been just informed of the cnet link.

Simon brown on Facebook, and ronen1n via PM, shared this link with me.

PowerTools Lite - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

But do not that one has to opt out from the Incredimail installer!

    Thank you all!

Got the full version in April as a giveaway. Never installed it, though.

Guess the registry cleaner mucks up one's registry so I wouldn't use that part

I agree, it is safer to stick with ccleaner.
