I just upgraded from W7 build 7000 to build 7057 so I have the latest IE8 right?

I am going to give it a good try. I have not even installed Firefox after my OS upgrade. I am having some withdrawl but don't worry, I will be fine. lol.

I will post my thoughts after exclusevly using Firefox for three years.

I've read your interesting reccomendations as usual

I've to report that IE 8 with only 3 open TABS uses too much RAM in my humble opinion, please take a glance by yourself:

If I open the same number of TABS with firefox I got only 60.000 KB and only one firefox.exe process.

This is Task Manger in italian of my desktop PC running XP PRO SP 3 fully patched (Intel Core Duo CPU and 4 GB RAM DDR2 800)

Nop.. It's not the latest (for Windows 7 it's the latest one). Latest version released only for Vista & XP users.

W7 Build 7057 didn't get latest IE. Microsoft still looking forward in development of IE8 and may include IE8 RTW in first Escrow RC build. Even reports say Microsoft'll release updates for IE timely until W7 RTMed.
