Just installed in my desktop PC running XP PRO SP 3 (32 bit)

    I unistalled IE 8 RC 1 first.
It seems improved a lot, it's faster, they simplified TAB usage, at present no crashes -which I got with RC 1 - to report and less memory usage.

I'm going to install "Ie 7 pro" now, 'cause I hate to view ads and banner above all.

    Thanks

Works perfectly. Is not quite as fast as on W7 Beta though. And it solved a strange problem I had with IE7. So, a good showing all around.

    Thank you seti

I've just found some other interesting informations

IE 8 reacting slowly - Neowin Forums

as many italians got a lot of issues with IE 8.

I think it's very interesting how to fix problems with Spybot Search & Destroy and IE 8.
It seems that undo immunize is not enough, so they suggest:

To remove all sites added by Spybot's Immunize:
    1. open
    regedit
    2. go to this key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap
    3. delete the following sub-folders: Domains, EscDomains, Ranges
    4. go to this key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\P3P
    5. delete the sub-folder History

Somebody reports that IE 8 no longer remember user name and password

If using CCleaner, index.dat needs to be excluded from deletion
