Very strange issue with back button

I do not know when this started exactly but latley when I am in the TWC Forums and only when I an in the TWC Forums I have to hit the back button three times (exactly three times, evey time) in order to go back to the previous page.

Windows 7 Ultimate / IE8 / MSE / Malewarebytes. Everything is up to date.

Any ideas?

Hmmm ... no reason it should happen ... but yes, clean cache, try for a few days and if its ONLY happening with TWCF then ... ???? Lets see

Ive tried that.

Here is the exact situation.

I click on the new post link to view the list of new post. The back button works here fine from this screen.

If I click on a thread to open and read it the back button takes three clicks to go back to the list of new post.

If I immediatly use the forward button to go back to the same thread again it works fine and the back button works as well.

I am glad you've brought this up Randy, because I have exactly the same problem when using IE8, but not in Firefox for some reason. I have done the clear cache and still it happens. I stopped coming here in IE8 for that reason. Any ideas and solutions would be good as I really use IE8 as my browser.

Woah - The very same behavior with me. Have to click thrice in IE8, but only once in FF to go back, in this case.

Chrome is my primary................rarely use IE8

Never happened to me though.
I'm on Win 7 Ultimate, IE8. Also work on FF.
