Cool Messenger now available in Hotmail

Today Microsoft rolled out a new feature in Windows Live Hotmail, that allows contacts to sign in and use their Web Messenger directly from their Inbox.

The added feature allows contacts to sign in automatically when logging into their inbox, via both Firefox and Internet Explorer (does not work in Google Chrome). Users can sort through their contact list by groups and categories, as well as see display pictures and send emoticons.

This feature was originally available to France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the UK last month and is now available to Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and the USA starting today.

I dont know how they come up with all the ideas to improve the live services, by now I would be stumped as to what to add.

Messenger is just so clean to look at and even more simple to use.

Wouldn't want to be biased towards MS or Live, but they are the last amongst all the three webmail giants in adding IM to the WebMail interface. Gmail & Yahoo already have IM available from the webmail.

Live services are just following the others here.

Despite that they seem to be doing well and have better looking apps than google and yahoo.
