How can I disable ads in Skype on Windows 10?

I use Skype, But I would like to turn off the banners ads that it displays in the Skype chat window.

Yeah sure - this is what I do.

Close Skype.

Open Internet Explorer >>> Internet Options >>> Security tab. Here click on Restricted sites and then on the Sites button. Add https://apps.skype.com/ in the box, press the Add button and click Close.

Start Skype and wala the ads will no longer be there.
