Office 2010 beta out next week

Microsoft will be releasing the Beta for office 2010 to the public next week. This has been widely reported in the press and Microsoft has also been sending out emails to those who've taken part in the testing for Office 2010. I do not think that it will be too long before we see the RC version and expect to see the full version very early in the new year.

That's ok, I started this for others to discover Office 2010, but don't forget if you don't have 2007 yet you can get a free trial of that from MS as well.

The invite is for the Starter, the link by Corrine is for the office.com website which is in beta and at PDC Microsoft will give out Office 2010 beta build 14.0.4514.1007 though there is news of 1009 being leaked.

Anyway, recently I came across Social Network integration in Outlook 2010 - [Update:Screen Shots] Microsoft To Integrate Outlook With Social Networks | I'm Just Being Manan Though as of now only a Sharepoint site can be used, Microsoft will most probably allow adding networks like twitter & Facebook.
