Default Critical error has occurred in the Shell Infrastructure Host in Windows 10

On my Windows 10 TP, I received the following error, on more than one occasion:

Read Full Solution here for this error message.

A critical error has occurred in the Shell Infrastructure Host. Start Menu, Cortana, and some apps may not be available. Please save your work and sign-out to recover.

Although the suggestion is to save the work and log-off, it does not help. A computer restart helps. But the error again occurs randomly.

Running the system file checker is known to help.

If you have any other suggestions, please do add.

Seems like Cortana is behind this issue, turning it off MAY help. Creating a new user account and runnning DISM commands may be another alternative:

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Hope this helps
