Default How do I disable CompatTelRunner.exe?

My firewall found this process CompatTelRunner.exe trying to access the internet. I'm not sure what it is or how it started up. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with communicating to MS for no reason. Is there a way to find out how things just start running out of nowhere?

Compattelrunner.exe located in the System32 folder is Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry file and is a part of the Windows 10 operating system. It checks your system for compatibility issues and tells Microsoft if your system is ready to receive Windows Updates.

I would advise you not to disable it.
