Question How to manually arrange files in a folder in Windows 10 v1709?

How to Disable Auto Arrange on Folders in Windows 10 (1709)?

In previous versions of Windows 10 I could arrange folders (by registry edit) but in Windows Pro 10 (1709) x64 I could not.

Please, does anyone know how to solve it?

Thank you in advance for any help.

For Desktop: Right-click > View > Uncheck Auto arrange icons.

In a folder please see this: How to disable Auto Arrange in folders in Windows 10

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm sorry, I expressed myself incorrectly.
What I want is to disable the organization of the folders in alphabetical order.
This option does not exist in Windows 10 (1709)

I too am extremely upset Windows killed this feature in File Explorer. Can we please get a hack to make the auto-arrange disable stick in 1709?

In the desktop, click or tap the File Explorer button on the taskbar.
Open the folder that contains the files you want to group.
Click or tap the Sort by button on the View tab.
Select a sort by option on the menu.

Select an option, such as name, Date, Size, Type, Date modified, and Dimensions.
The available options vary depending on the selected folder type.
Ascending. Select to sort items in ascending order A-Z.
Descending. Select to sort items in descending order Z-A.
Choose columns. Select to customize the columns shown in Details view.
