If you are receiving Activation error code 0xC004F050 on your Enterprise connected computer while activating your Windows, there is something wrong with the product key. The full error message goes as



The Software Protection Service reported that the product key is invalid.

It applies to KMS, KMS client and MAK. You will need to check if there was a typo when entering the key or if the key was a beta or meant for pre-released version. Also, make sure that the em-dashes have not been substituted for the dashes in the key.

If the key is correct, then you will need to check the version to which the key belongs to.
