Microsoft tries to promote its products by linking them with each other (eg. Bing is the default search engine for Edge). One such case is that Windows 10 operating system comes with pre-installed universal apps like Edge, Cortana, etc.

However, some users are not fond of these apps. Now they could either uninstall them after installing Windows or buy a version which doesn't come with these apps. But does Microsoft provide a version of Windows 10 without pre-installed universal apps?

Yes, Microsoft released a version of Windows 10 named LTSB (Long Term Servicing Branch) for Enterprise users only. The LTSB has reduced functionality and is updated every 2-3 years compared to a featured update every 6 months for a normal user.

My personal advice would be to purchase the normal version and uninstall the universal apps later.
