Default How to cancel permission check and external drive user folder

i'm connecting a lot of hard drives to my pc , and allways got "You don't currently have permission to access this folder" click continue.... and then after checking it's open.

But i got one pc with a great bug.. any ext old hard drive with windows that i connecting to is opening the user folder without the check... (like it was on Windows XP)

So what is the way to to this and cancel the check when enter user folder from old drives?

Does this help? You don’t currently have permission to access this folder.

For the latter part of your question, you will have to disable the antivirus scan which takes place when you connect a USB.

You can do this with the GUI -- take ownership and then reset everything --

Right click root folder > properties > security > advanced > owner (tab) > edit > choose your account from the list (or select from the Other Users or Groups button) and select "Replace Owner on subcontainers and objects"

There is also a "takeown" command, i.e. if the files are on a drive that you see as E: --

    TAKEOWN /F E:\ /R /D Y

Once you have taken ownership, then you have to set the permissions; for this, you use ICACLS:

    ICACLS "e:" /reset /T
Alternative ways of changing the permissions with ICACLS can be found with "ICACLS /?" as you can explicitly add your permissions, replace, etc
