Default Startup folders showing as empty?!?!

Hiall! Noobie here - be gentle!

I'm trying to change my startup programs. I've checked both shell:startup AND shell:common startup - but both folders are showing as empty even though I have programs that startup automatically. One even tries to startup twice! I've checked the usual location too:

    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Window s\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    and also:

    %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

but there is still nothing showing!

Where are the start up programs?!?

    Default

There could be Registry startup paths too.

Try using a freeware like WinPatrol to manage startups.
