Default BSOD with Windows 7 & PerfectDisk 10

How do I get a screen shot of the BSOD? W7 is so fast I do not have a chance to write anything down.

Ever since I installed PerfectDisk 10 I get the BSOD about once a day, so I started thinking what I have done recently, a hah, PerfectDisk 10. So I stared playing with PD10 and walla when I run a manual defrag - BSOD!

Disable UAC. Control Panel > System And Maintenance > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Under Startup And Recovery > Click Settings > Clear the Automatically Restart check box > click OK. Enable UAC.

Now you will be able to read the BSOD. It wont re-start automatically.

    1. You can't get a screen-shot of a BSOD, you will have to click a snap or note down the number.

    2. To avoid auto-restart, which I assume is what is happening:

Control Panel\System and Maintenance\System -> Advanced System Settings -> Advanced (3rd tab) -> Uncheck 'Automatically Restart.

NOTE: This is the method in Vista, I'm sure it's the same in 7 too.

Very strange. After I got PerfectDisk to finish a complete defrag by restarting it several times it has not crashed again.
