Unhappy Windows 7 Installation and disc space

I have installed windows 7 Ultimate - 64 bit on a 30 Gb drive (all installation of applications are on another drive)
But now i have just 2 GB left on that drive.

What should i do ? allot more disc space ? or is there is anything that should be removed ?

    the drive is NTFS

    Program files - 1.2 GB
    Program files (x86) - 3.45 GB

Total windows drive - 19.7 GB
    winsxs - 5.6 GB
    SoftwareDistribution- 1.8 GB
    system 32 - 2.4
    syswow64 - 1

Yeah, you def need to allot more space; and dont remove any of its components using nLite/vLite kinda tools, lest you break something.

50 Gb that will be full in a matter of time as you start installing softies better give more space.

An optimization tip r: Give your primary partition as much space as you can, You know indexing space, paging, virtual memory and a lot of sys internals req space in primary

I installed RC1 on 70gig drive and that was ok, but didn't leave much space for anything else. I think you need much more than that if it helps.

Kishan, 80 GB is really huge space. Use some visual disk space analyzer to know the disk space usage.

Was it a clean install or an upgrade?
If it's an upgrade, the previous installations files are saved in windows.old folder .....

Clean install (a super clean install actually :P , i removed all the data on hard disk, re partitioned, formated all the drives)
but i thought 30 gb will be enough on system drive since am installing data on another drive(on xp it was 20 gb and there were enough space, i was unaware of Vista and windows 7 disk usage actually).

Now i changed the partition size using Partition wizard now i have 80 GB on system drive and 53 gb free space.

In that case, try the method as suggested by tweakwindows.
My system partition is of 23 GB, and around 7 GB is free, with all installations (many developer tools, two database engines) ...
