Default Hidden Programs, Applications & Tools of Windows 7 & Vista

Windows 7 & Vista has a lot of hidden Programs, Applications & Tools which not everyone knows. While most of them were common in earlier versions of Windows, there are some new ones in 7 & Vista too.

Can we all try and list down the most useful tools and how to access them? Should be helpful to all.

Here some I know of :

    cmd,
    msconfig,
    gpedit,
    regedit,
    secpol,
    tzutil.exe,
    powercfg

Snipping Tool, Calculator, Disk Defragger, Chkdsk, DiskClean, etc.

You can see some more under the start menu, accessories/admin tools folders.

    cipher

For example, with /W switch this tool can be used to sanitize free disk space, so that deleted data will become unrecoverable.

^ Probably, because some are not easily accessible.

    hi !

    riteshk: very good idea !

ALL: but a list without any explanation about what the command does, is useless....

    iMav: thanks ! ^....
