Default [win 7] How to remove in the bootlist 1 voice

    Well,

in a pc with 3 systems 7, xp and xp (or linux or whatelse... ) with a boot list like this

    1 win 7

    2 xp

    3 linux

I need to remove one of these (only from the bootlist, not remove the system ) one of these voices for example numer 3.

How can I resolve this to obtain:.... (if it's possible.... )

    1 win 7

    2 xp

    tnx in advance

let me see if I understand... You want to remove a boot option without removing the actual OS? am I right?

If I am right EasyBCD would give you the option to rearrange or remove boot options without removing the Operating System. Its a free download and its east to use.

didn't think about that.... If not try to run it in compatability mode. I know for a fact it worked fine for vista and I used it to run Vista with 7 RTC boot. So I would imagine it will be fine.

Easybcd worked with vista. So there shouldn't be a problem. I had another program with same features called vistabootpro that i used to setup dual boot between xp and vista. I have used it with windows 7 without any problem. So there shouldn't be a problem with easyBCD either.
