    is it ok to use bitlocker capability in windows 7 to encrpt pen drives? what kind of encryption it is...??

    Win 7 has Bitlocker To Go for pen drives. Very handy! Won't get your pen drive infected with viruses. At the same time, Bitlocker To Go won't allow you to write on pen drives from a Windows XP machine. Here's a good article in simple terms explaining BTG: From Source to Secure : Bitlocker To go
