    Hi DQScott95,

Each has its own set of pros & cons. For instance you can extend and enhance Thunderbird with its many available plugins; the other 2 may not have such plugin support.

I prefer to use Windows Live Mail, but I'd suggest you try all 3 and see which best suits your requirements.

Now that you have brought this up, I will try out the latest version of Thunderbird ...

I very enthusiastically installed Thunderbird. But it disappointed me.
Also tried Evolution for Windows (Outlook clone for Linux). It didn't work at all.

I was very comfortable with Outlook Express. But when the volume increased, I was under constant apprehension that OE will collapse some day.

Then switched over to Outlook and am happy. At least, I know it can handle volume. Before Outlook gets mails, all rubbish is gone with the help of POPPeeper

    But still do miss OE.

I have heard that Bat (RITLabs. The Bat! Email Client) is the best email client around. Its a paid app and I haven't tried it.

Some people even like to use Incredimail (IncrediMail - Have Fun Sending Email!) for it's bells and whistles

The equation from my side (considering all pro and cons)
Microsoft Office Outlook > Windows Live Mail > Thunderbird

Office Outlook is perfect coz 2010 caries lots of great features. but if you don't want the hole in your pocket .. Wait for sometime and go for Windows Live mail Wave 4 which somewhat exactly contains functions like Outlook.
