Default Minimize apps from the keyboard

In XP, I was able to minimize an app that was on the screen by pressing ALT -> SPACE -> N. This doesn't seem to work in Windows 7 x64.

I forgot to mention. The visible app only, I know how to minimize all apps at once.

In Windows 7 if the application is maximized press Windows + Down-Arrow twice ( once it would bring the application to the original size, then it would minimize it ) if the application is in it's original size just press Windows + Down-Arrow once
