    Default Help with remote shutdown.

I am currently running Windows 7 and I want to be able to shut my laptop down running Windows Vista.

The Laptop runs on the same network but is connected wireless I have tried using the "shutdown -i" diolog in the "Run" command with no joy.

can anyone help me with this as when I have friends over and they outstay there welcome I would just like to shut the laptop down so they have no reason but to leave
